This listing is for a SunRain Prism SunCatcher DIY Kit—a make-it-yourself version of one of my studio designs. You’ll receive everything you need to assemble a radiant hanging SunCatcher that throws shimmering rainbows across your walls when the light hits just right.

I’ve carefully selected and prepared the same quality of prisms and components I use in my $80 SunRain Studio Originals, then simplified the steps so you can enjoy the creative process at home.

What’s included in your kit
You will receive:
• Premium optical crystal prism(s), pre inspected for clarity and sparkle
• Center mount ready to set prisms
• Center mount support (allows excess resin to drain off)
• 24" gold-colored curb chain
• All required hardware (nails, jump rings, lanyard clip)
• Printed step by step assembly guide with clear photos

All components arrive organized and ready to assemble—no hunting for supplies or guessing what to buy. Resin and hardener NOT included. You can color your resin as you please when you pour the bonding.

What you’ll need at home. Resin experience helpful but nor required.
To keep things simple, I’ve designed this kit so you only need basic tools:
• Small pliers (jewelry or needle nose work great)
• Top of a 5" diameter 48 oz Yogurt container or similar raised plastic lid with a 1/4" lip.
• 2 oz (or larger) bottles of A and B parts of clear tabletop 1:1 epoxy resin and hardner
• A comfortable, well lit, covered surface and workspace
• Optional: tiny amount of resin pigment or mica powder for center core
• Optional: reading glasses or magnification if you prefer for small parts

No previous jewelry or craft experience is required; the instructions are written for beginners who enjoy hands on projects.

This DIY kit is ideal if you:

Both options use beautiful, light catching Asfour lead-crystals and my thoughtful design. The key difference is who does the final assembly and finishing—you, or me in the studio.

Skill level and time
• Skill level: Beginner friendly; patient teens and adults can complete it with ease
• Estimated assembly time: About 45–90 minutes, depending on your pace, in 24 hrs another small pour is required for bonding prism to center mount. Plan on a third pour 24 hrs later - these are very small pours.
The process is relaxing, tactile, and very satisfying when you see your finished SunCatcher come to life in the sunlight.
